A comprehensive psychiatric assessment will be done as part of an initial evaluation at the clinic. You will be requested to book an appointment to see Dr Aju Abraham, who will be doing the initial assessment, which will include a mental health evaluation and certain blood tests which are both essential parts of a routine psychiatric evaluation prior to commencing any form of treatment at the clinic. In some cases, psychometric assessments may be recommended depending on the nature of the presenting problem.

Following the completion of the psychiatric evaluation, if any problem is identified, Dr Aju will offer different options for treatment which may include treatment with medications that will help to cure or alleviate the problems identified and/or psychological treatments such as simple form of Supportive Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy/Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Marital/Relationship Counselling, Family Therapy, Group Therapy etc, depending on what is seen as most appropriate for treating the problems an individual, couple or family presents with.
